Shambhala is committed to manifesting as an enlightened society.  What does that mean for the individual? for a community?  for our role in the world at large? How do we find basic goodness in a political climate of misogyny, racism, homophobia? Come and explore these issues in a space dedicated to compassion and kindness.

We are pleased to welcome our visiting teacher, Dr. Shanté Smalls to Gainesville.  Dr. Smalls will direct a program called "Is Enlightened Society Possible? on Friday evening and all day on Saturday.  On Sunday, Dr Smalls will offer a program for our Queer and Trans community.
